2 Month!

It is hard to believe Lina is already two months! She has been a very good baby, eating well, sleeping well, and growing well. At the 2 month check up, she was 10lb 5oz (almost double her birth weight by now), and 21.75 inches long.

She has been lots of fun for us while keeping Scott awake at night with her little cute baby noises. Sometimes she snores too. Her favorite thing in the house is the ceiling fan and dining table light. She could stare at the fan for a long time and you don't have to play with her at all. Probably enormarous structures hanging from high are so fascinating to her little eyes. She likes the swing and the bouncy chair a lot, so she would join us for dinner sitting in either of them.

Lina starts to notice her surroudings much more now. She seems to know where everything is, the diaper table, her crib, the nursing chair. She won't stop cranking until you put her at the right place, then she is happy like a bee. She is very vocal in letting you know her needs. Starting about 2 or 3 weeks ago, she want to talk to us. From what I could hear, she can do all the vowls, a , e, i, o ,u. She practiced them a lot while her diaper gets changed.

She seems like outdoor and adventuresome, too. She used to fall in sleep in her stroller, but now she looks around while we are taking a walk in the neighborhood. For new things we tried her on (such as the front carrier), she only cranked a little and started to enjoy it very fast. Such a sweet pea!
