Almost half a year!

My dear little sweet pie has been growing so fast! Unbelievable she is almost 6 month and will be at her half birthday in 4 days. Lina has learned a lot from her daycare friends, such as blowing raspberry. Even though someone at work told me that all babies do that. She loves to play with bottles, shaking them and chewing on the lid. She can sit quite well in her bumbo now, and she enjoys sitting in it and watching us eating dinner. Her favorite thing on the dining table is to grab our plate or utensils. The foods she has tried include sweet potato, rice cereal, melons (all kinds), mango, peaches, apple saurce, corn on the cobb, bread...

The exsaucer is another of her favorites. She used to just flip the ABC book and eat the ear of the blue bear and dial the phone. Now she can make music by pulling the hanging toys on the bar, and she giggles as the music goes on. Lina loves turning the wheel on the exsaucer too. There is a simliar version in the daycare that she loves to play. The teacher said that Lina is piloting the flight when she sat in the bumbo and played on the control board of one toy in the classroom.

Since Lina has been sitting, she does not like laying around any more except in her crib when the baby mobile was on. One morning, we started hear the music on the mobile changed when we were in a different room and she was there alone. We found out that she used her feet to kick the control buttons and changed the music to the natural sounds or heart beat depending on her mood. Her attempts to grab to mobile animal have not been successful so far, but I think that day will come soon since her hands coordination and grabbing skill have improved day by day.

Coz and Lina are getting along well, and I think they start to like each other more. Every time Coz walks by, Lina looks up and follows his movement. Coz is more relaxed around Lina now; he used to run away when squirral Lina showed up. Lina has learned to pat Coz very gently and brush his fur with her hand open , even though she will grab Mom and Dad quite tight. They are good brother and sister, happy with the presence of each other.
