Almost 19 months now!

Maybe I should have called this twice a year blogging (thoughts on photo posting? ) Lina has been a busy bee for the last few few months including her one-year-old Birthday Parties.

A good trooper
---Lina has gotten her passport and visited multiple states (IL, FL, SC, NC) and Mexico, gone to county fair, survived 6-h road trips and multiple courses meals, and sea-legged the Carnival Fantasy cruise.

An active toddler
---Lina has been walking for a few months and starts running around now. She loves hide and seek, running in the circle trying to find Mom and Dad; she also loves peek a boo by simply covering her eyes with both hand and peeking. She helps with lots of chores in the house, wiping the dinning table, closing up the dishwasher, bringing shoes for Mom and Dad, sorting recyles and trashes. Her current favorite activity is to drive her Daddy's Mazda 6, pushing all the buttons, and turning on the windowshields. The least favorite thing is doctor's visit.

A little talker
-- quite a few words: Mama, Daddy, Car, Boat, Up, Hat, Go, Key, Cat, More, Hot, Cold, Yay, Nah (No), Eye, MooMoo, Peepee, Byebye, Baba (daddy), Bao (hold), Yu (fish), Hua (flower), Mayi (Ants), Dada (poo), Yaya (ducks and all birds), Eiei (dirty), Maha (grandma), Yi (aunti).
--Still confused by words of similar sounds: Xiaoko xiaoko (little bite) sounds like xiaogou (little doggie) to her, so she barks like a puppy every time she heard Xiaoko.
--A good organizer to tell Mom and Dad to go for a walk or drive: first ask to put her shoes on, then deliver shoes to mom and dad, go to push the stroller out or get the key, last say "gogo".
